Terms of privacy

  1. Introduction
    1. We, Ourdogiz Ltd. (“Dogiz”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”), respect the privacy of the users and visitors of Our application (“Application”) and/or service (“Service”), and are committed to protect the information that Our users (“User” or “You”) share with Us.
    2. We believe that You have the right to know our practices regarding the information We may collect when You log into the Application and use the Service. The guidelines contained herein apply to your use of the Application and/or Service.

  2. Which information may we collect with regards to Our Users?
    1. We collect two types of data and information:
      1. Non-identifiable and anonymous information (“Non-personal Information”). To put it simply, we have no idea what is the identity of the User from which we have collected the Non-personal Information.
        The Non-personal Information We gather consists of technical information and behavioral information, including, among others, the type of the User’s mobile device and its operating system and version, device language, device device storage, type of browser, screen resolution and other modes (e.g. vibration mode, Bluetooth), User’s ‘click-stream’ and patterns on the Application, time spent on various screens of the Application, internet connectivity, etc.
      2. Individually identifiable information (“Personal Information”). To put it simply, this information may identify an individual or is of a private and/or sensitive nature:
        1. Personal Information which is being gathered consists of any personal details provided consciously and voluntarily by the User. Users who are interested in opening an Account may be requested to provide the following details via the registration form: full name, e-mail, dog information, picture,choose a password and information derived from your device, such as UDID.
        2. Alternatively, the User can open an Account and signup to the Service via the Social Network Account. In the event that a User registers to the Application and/or Service through his/her existing Social Network Account, then such Social Network Account provides Us with access to certain information about such User as is stored in the User’s Social Network Account, namely, certain public information (e.g. full name, profile picture and cover photos, networks, gender, user name and user ID and any other information which the User made public) and/or any other information which is detailed and displayed to the User in the notice which appears during the “Log in” with such Social Network Account process. Please read carefully such notice in order to understand what information is available to Us via the Social Network Account. You hereby agree that such information will be stored even after the linkage to your Social Network Account expires, for any reason.
        3. Upon installation, the Application may request access to the following Personal Information from the User’s device: GPS (geo-location).
          For avoidance of doubt, any Non-Personal Information connected or linked to any Personal Information shall be deemed as Personal Information as long as such connection or linkage exists.
  3. How do we collect information on Our Users?
    1. There are two main methods we use:
      1. We collect information through Your use of the Application and/or Service. In other words, when You use the Application and/or Service We are aware of Your usage of the Service and may gather, collect and store the information relating to such usage, either independently or through the help of our authorized third-party service providers as detailed below. Non-personal Information is collected from Your device automatically, through Your use of the Application, once Your device is on and as long as the Application is running on Your device. For example, Your location.
      2. We collect information which You may, at your discretion, provide us voluntarily. We collect Personal Information when You, at Your discretion, decide to provide Us when opening an Account and/or when placing an order via the Application. We may also collect Personal Information when You register and open an Account through your Social Network Account. When registering through Your Social Network Account, You agree to grant Us access to Personal Information stored in Your Social Network Account, as detailed above. We may gather, collect and store the Personal Information either independently or through the help of our authorized third-party service providers as detailed below.
  4. What are the purposes of the collection of information?
    1. Non-personal Information is collected in order to:
      1. Use it for statistical and research purposes and for customization and improvement of Our Service;
      2. Improve Our metrics and the quality of the Service.
      3. Marketing and promotion services in order to enhance the User’s experience;
    2. Personal Information is accessed in order to:
      1. Provide You with Our Service, including to enable the overall operation of the Service, open an account on the Application and/or the Service.
      1. Enable current and future commercial related services;
      2. Send push notifications to the User’s device after the User agreed to accept push notifications from Us. Users can deactivate push notifications by changing the notification settings in accordance with the instructions of the operating system running on the Users’ device;
      3. Be able to inform You regarding Our products and other services which may interest You, and to send to You other marketing material, transmitted to You through the contact information You provided Us;
      4. Determine geo-location information from which the User’s mobile device in order to render the Service (including location-based services), as well as in order to safeguard Our Service;
      5. Check whether any of the contacts on Your Contact List are registered Users of the Application and recommend You to interact with such Users;
      6. Be able to reply to the User’s support requests or other question concerning the Services;.
  5. Sharing information with third parties
    1. We may also share Personal Information in the following cases: (a) to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena or governmental request; (b) to enforce these Privacy Policy, and the Application Terms of Use, as applicable, including investigation of potential violations of them; (c) to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; (d) to respond to claims that any content published on the Application and/or Service violates any right of a third-party; (e) to respond to claims that contact information (e.g. phone number, name, etc.) of a third-party has been posted on the Application and/or Service or transmitted without their consent or as a form of harassment; (f) to protect Our rights, property, or personal safety and those of our Users or the general public; (g) if We undergo any change in control, including by means of merger, acquisition or purchase of all or substantially all of Our assets; (h) in order to provide You with Our services and with related services; or (i) pursuant to Your approval, in order to supply certain services the User has requested from Us.
    2. The Application may contain links and references to websites of others. We may, from time to time, at Our sole discretion, add or remove links to other websites. These links are provided solely as a convenience to You, and access to any such websites is at Your own risk. We may present links in a format that enables Us to keep track of whether these links have been followed.
      In no event We will be responsible for the information contained in such links or websites, their practices are for Your use of or inability to use such links or websites or their services, or transmissions received from such sites. You expressly relieve Us from any and all liability arising from Your use of any third-party website.
      Other websites may follow different rules regarding the collection, use or disclosure of Personal Information that You submit. Personal Information that Our Users provide to those other websites may be sent to Us in order to enable Our Users’ use of the Application. We process such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Other websites may have different privacy practices. We encourage Users to read the privacy policies and other terms and familiarize themselves with the privacy practices of the other websites before using their services.
      Users should be aware that by Logging In, other parties, such as other Users of the Application and/or Service may have access to their User’s Information subject to Privacy and Visibility Settings defined by the users on the User’s Social Network and on the Application.
  6. Third Party Service Providers

We may share certain Personal Information with such third parties so they could perform their functions for Us with respect to the Service and for industry analysis, demographic profiling, other commercial purposes, or to deliver targeted advertising about other products and services.
    We use commercially reasonable efforts to engage with third parties that post a privacy policy governing their collection, retention, processing and use of non-personal and personal information. We do not control such third party service providers. Please read their terms of use and privacy policies to better understand their privacy practices.
  7. Direct Marketing
    You hereby agree that we may use Your contact details for the purpose of informing You of products, services and other updates and new features which may be of interest to You, as well as for sending You other materials to the e-mail address and\or to the mobile device You provided in the registration process. You may withdraw Your consent via sending a written notice to Us by e-mail to the following e-mail address: [email protected]
  8. Deletion/Modification of Personal Information
    If for any reason You wish to update or modify your Personal Information You can do so within Your Account. In the event that You wish to close Your Account or delete the Personal Information included therein, You may do so using the Settings of the Account (if available) or by sending Us an e-mail request to: [email protected] and We will make reasonable efforts to do so pursuant to any applicable privacy laws.
    We may retain and use Your Personal Information for a reasonable time after termination as necessary to comply with our legal or business requirements or obligations (including as required by applicable law), to resolve disputes and/or to enforce our Terms of Use, all as permitted under any applicable privacy laws. Aggregated and/or anonymous data derived from Your Account may remain on Our servers indefinitely. We cannot ensure that third parties who gained access to the Personal Information deleted Your Personal Information and cannot monitor their use of such information.
  9. Cookies & Local Storage
    When a User uses our Service, We may use industry-standard technologies such as “cookies”, Flash and/or Silverlight (or similar technologies), which store certain information on your computer (“Local Storage”) and which will allow Us to enable automatic sign-in to the Application and/or Service and make the User’s browsing more convenient and effortless. It is easy to prohibit the Local Storage option. Most browsers will allow the User to erase cookies from their computer hard drive, block acceptance of cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. In order to erase or disable the Local Storage option in Flash or Silverlight You should use the settings option of Flash/Silverlight according to the specific instructions provided by the technology provider. However, if You block or erase, cookies, or change the settings of Flash and/or Silverlight, Your online experience may be limited.
  10. Security
    We take a great care in maintaining the security of Our Application, Service and Users’ information and in preventing unauthorized access to it through industry standard technologies and internal procedures. Please note, however, that there are inherent risks in the transmission of information over the Internet or other methods of electronic storage and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access or use will never occur.
  11. Information received from Third Party Sites
    We receive Personal Information and Non-personal Information from third party websites, such as the Social Networks (“Third Party Information”), only if the following conditions are met: (a) the Third Party Information is necessary for the delivery of certain services You have requested; and (b) You have granted Us permission to use such Personal Information and/or Non-Personal Information.
  12. Changes to the Privacy Policy
    The terms of this Privacy Policy will govern the use the Application and/or Service and any information collected therein. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time, so the User is encouraged to re-visit this page frequently. In case of any material change, we may post a clear notice on the Application.
    Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective as of the stated “Last Update” and your continued use of the Application and/or Service on or after the Last Update date will constitute acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, those changes.
